VICTORIA BECKHAM'S HANDBAG 2011-2012

It’s really important to do what you like, to do it with passion, to enjoy what you do. And it is also nice to receive positive responses about your work. Victoria Beckham knows this better than anyone else. She was never good at singing and people liked to note that. Now, being a fashion designer she no longer hears or reads negative comments about results of her work. She is respected and can be proud of what she has achieved. A couple of years ago she focused on designing of dresses only. When she felt she could do it well she decided to expand her growing empire and launch a line of handbags. This is her first collection (Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012) for you to judge.

Louis Vuitton has a knack to impress – not just with beautiful bags, shoes and accessories but architecture and interiors as well. While the brand is busy setting up an empire in the East these days, things back homewards are also not too far behind. Its iconic store to date is undoubtedly the LV building on Champs-Élysées. Designed by American architect Eric Carlson, the store is considered to be the most successful store of the brand in the world. Pursuitist reports that currently 'their windows were merchandised with a carnival theme. It’s nice to see classic Louis Vuitton bags are having a time of their lives on roller coasters.' The store is believed to create a wonderful shopping experience for its customers and apparently they have thought of everything – including having dedicated plastic bags to stack away your wet umbrellas! Now that is thinking on multi-dimensions to offer the best to its valued customers.

We already discussed Prada’s man Fall 2011 campaign images over on PurseBlog, but season after season Miuccia seems to know what it is we really want to see – THE SHOES. As Prada did for Spring 2011, this fall also has a group of ads singularly devoted to the footwear of our dreams.

And since Prada’s shoes are always, always, always one of the major highlights of the season, they’re the perfect brand to be doing shoe-only ads. The combinations of colors, textures and prints in these photos are enough to give you outfit inspiration all the way until next spring.

Because most of our posts cover handbags, smaller accessories get left out from time to time. Because smaller goods spend most of their time obscured from view, they’re often not as artfully adorned as bags that we wear as part of our exterior ensemble, which means that they don’t get as much blog love. Every now and then, though, a collection of wallets and small pieces comes around that deserves closer examination.

Marc Jacobs’ creations have always attracted attention, often puzzled but never left indifferent. His Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collection shocked but it was amazing in its own, very special way. Accessories he designed to go with clothing were much more wearable though. The bag range was amazing. Some of the pieces looked really wonderful .

The Only Watch 2011 is gaining momentum as its date, scheduled for September, gets closer. Swiss watchmaker Corum will contribute the Corum Golden Bridge Automatic in titanium case. Earlier this year, the watchmakers unveiled the first automatic mechanical movement for its Golden Bridge watch with an innovative linear winding system. For the Only Watch auction, Corum will offer an exclusive piece which will feature a titanium case with matte finish and fitted on a black croc strap with red stitching and titanium pin buckle. The watch will also boast, at its back, a Corum logo and an inscription “ONLY WATCH PIECE UNIQUE” in red.

While PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), which has looked down heavily on Victoria for her use of exotic skins on her designs, an unfazed Selfridges, London put up the £8,995 (almost $15,000) bag as a part of its white themed collection .
