A new face for a new collection is a norm. But two different faces for the same collection is a rarity. Not with Piaget however. The luxury watch and jewellery maker is known to change the face of its collections faster than royal marraiges. So after Sienna Miller graced the 20th anniversary of Piaget (incidentally a Possession collection again), the watchmaker has signed in the Sin City star to be the face of its latest Possession line up. And to make this association look different, Piaget has commissioned the best: one of the world’s great glamour photographers, Patrick Demarchelier; celebrity stylist Brad Goreski; make-up artist Lauren Andersen and hair stylist, Renato Campora- to create six stunning looks, including one in black and white with Alba wearing the signature gold and diamond Possession cuff, ring and earrings. KATE MIDDLETON FINALLY MARRIES HER PRINCE IN ALEXANDER MCQUEEN GOWN

Finally she did it. Kate Middleton married her Prince Charming and surprised the public with her stunning gown. Speaking about the gown I have to admit Kate has made a great choice when asked Sarah Burton from Alexander McQueen to design her wedding dress. The stunning ivory and satin dress looked fantastic and combined both the traditional and the modern – the way Kate wanted it.

Kate Middleton’s wedding dress featured a fabulous lace appliqué bodice with 9ft train. It is said to have been inspired by Grace Kelly’s gown for her marriage to Monegasque Prince Rainier III. To finish her look the new Queen opted for a 1936 diamond Halo tiara by Cartier, pear-shaped diamond earrings designed by Robinson Pelham, and of course the veil, made of layers of soft, ivory silk tulle with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers. Gorgeous. Absolutely. My congratulations to the newlyweds !

LACOSTE EBURY FOOTWEAR COLLECTION

Lacoste made a coloured splash for Spring/Summer 2011 with the release of its Ebury style footwear collection.

The Ebury style shoes are based on the silhouette of a classic penny loafer, the slip-on sneaker featuring a canvas upper with leather detailing across the tongue and a bright, colourful contrast lining.

In conjunction with the sneaker’s debut this season, Lacoste has also released a fun video that highlights all six of the available colours.

SWAROVSKI AURA MAKE-UP JEWELS

After releasing their first fragrance called Aura, Swarovski also decided to launch three gorgeous special make-up jewels to make a stunning entrance in the world of beauty products.

The pendants are made in palladium finish and are set with genuine and exclusive Swarovski crystals, specially cut and faced with the unique Swarovski expertise.

Inside the jewel, there is a hidden compartment which opens to reveal either a transparent and soft pink lip gloss, a crystal touch with a glittery finish, or a more discrete crystal gloss.

The texture enriched with genuine micronized “Swarovski Crystal” and iridescent Crystal Shine powder, gives shiny dazzling radiant lips.

Worn around the neck with a string of black leather, the make-up jewels are priced at 60€ (about 88 $) for the two glosses and 70 € (about 103 $) for the crystal touch.

THE $3.3 MILLION ROYAL WEDDING IPHONE COLLCTION PRESENTED BY GOLDGENIE

The royal wedding celebrations are no longer limited to the couple in question. After wallpapers, ice creams, refrigerators and cars, its time for a luxury gadget to take a piece of the royal limelight. Goldgenie is now out with a Royal Wedding iPhone collection. The iPhone 4 is cast from “Solid Platinum rear with VS1 8.50 ct. Certified diamond and Sapphire bezel and Apple logo embellished sides and buttons”.

Limited to 50 versions only, the Gold Platinum and Rose gold gadget has the bezel set with sapphire and diamonds that is Princess Di’s sapphire ring which is now Kate’s engagement ring (HRH Dutchess of Cambridge now). Each of these gadgets is priced at £2 million ($3.33 million) each.

Ralph Lauren’s Spring/ Summer 2011 collection was all inspired by Wild West and westerns – silk and satin shirts in cowboy style, skirts and dresses adorned with lace, long rough boots, wide belts with buckles made in shape of animal figures, etc. Very unique and stylish. The handbags from the range correspond to the same style featuring brown and camel colors and fringing.
