This is just plain annoying - the fact that people have the audacity to screech on loud speakers their proud new collection of fur. What age do we live in, 1920? The year is irrelevant but if Fendi is expecting to increase its loyalty and clientele by launching a made-to-measure experience with fur, they are thinking from a vintage barrel of waste. Roman ateliers have been invited to the store until Friday to create customized fur for the client’s specification at its 5th Avenue boutique. This will apparently allow ‘customers to participate in the design process, while tying back to Fendi’s rich history of handcraftsmanship’. Do they not have a PR department keeping in track with what happens to brands that go fur-smacking these days?
