In celebration of their Dutch origin, the Royal Assher Diamond Company has presented a limited edition ring from the collection Stars of Africa, with floating orange diamonds. Recently, the company received the “Royal” title for the next 25 years and chose orange diamonds as tribute to the Royal House of Orange-Nassau.
Founded in 1854, the Asscher diamond company is known among other for the Royal Asscher Cut.
The limited edition rings are part of the amazing Stars of Africa collection designed by Canadian jewellery designer Reena Ahluwalia that showcases floating diamonds.
For this limited collection, only 55 rings are being created. The celebratory orange and white diamonds are set in 18k white gold, and consumers can choose from a medium or large version. Both sizes have 0,55 carats of white diamonds on the shank of the ring. Floating in the medium size ring is 0,60 carats of orange diamonds, and the large version has 1,55 carats of orange diamonds.
The Diamonds are encased in a fluid-filled dome, and they dance, float and fall freely, like snowflakes in a snow globe. The collection benefits Royal Asscher’s Africa-focused fundraising initiative, Stars of Africa.
