ULYSSE NARDIN BLACK SEA

The 45.8mm Black Sea is the latest addition to the Marine Diver collection. The stainless-steel case has undergone a complex vulcanization process, leaving it with a matte-black rubber coating, giving it a sporty aesthetic and comfortable feel. The wave motif extends from the dial to the bezel and even the rubber and ceramic strap. Find pricing and wallpaper inside.
The exhibition case-back reveals the self-winding movement which features a 42-hour power reserve indicator, oversize small seconds register and a large date display.
The hour markers and the hour and minute hands are covered with red luminescent material. The power-reserve indicator is located at 12 o’clock while the small seconds and round date are displayed at 6 o’clock. Small hands are painted in red. The individually-numbered case provides a unidirectional rotating bezel and a screwed crown and is is water-resistant to 200 meters. The strap includes a black ceramic folding clasp.
The suggested retail price for the Black Sea is $9500.

CORUM ADMIRAL’S CUP LEGERD 42

At Baselworld last week Corum unveiled the Admiral’s Cup Legend 42. The twelve-sided bezel and nautical pennants have defined Admiral’s Cup family for decades. For 2011, the collection expands with the addition of a classically elegant example. At 42mm, this new model is smaller than the collection’s sporting versions, and the new design is more understated. Find pricing and wallpaper inside.
The case has been redesigned with more strongly curved and rounded lugs, resulting in softer angles, while the sapphire caseback allows a view of the caliber CO395 movement inside. Beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it has a 42-hour power reserve and features an oscillating weight engraved with the Corum name.
The dial features a vertical guilloché motif for the steel and two-tone steel & gold versions, or barleycorn guilloché for the 18K red gold models. The Admiral’s Cup Legend 42 comes with a leather strap for the steel and steel & gold versions, or an alligator strap for the gold versions – both secured by a folding clasp. The steel and steel & gold models are also available with a new matching steel bracelet exclusively developed for this Admiral’s Cup Legend 42.
