Some days, talking about trends and design and the fashion industry just seems a little strenuous, particularly first thing in the morning. Today was starting to feel like one of those days, which calls for some totally gratuitous eye candy. Luckily, online trunk sale pioneer Moda Operandi is currently offering a generous selection of gorgeous vintage Hermes bags, and even though the sale is only open to Moda members, we have all the pictures.

For being such an enormous, world-renowned brand, Ralph Lauren Collection handbags can be mighty hard to come by. Even though I often see full-page ads for the Ralph Lauren Ricky Bag in glossy magazines, the only place I’ve ever seen one actually for sale was in a Ralph Lauren boutique, which seemed like an oddly narrow retail scheme for a bag that could potentially garner lots of sales at department stores and high-end online retailers if customers were able to become more familiar with the brand’s accessories.

Well, it looks as though Lauren is coming around to that way of thinking. Yesterday, Ralph Lauren Collection launched on PurseBlog favorite Net-a-Porter.com, and the initial handbag offerings include the absolutely drool-worthy Ricky satchel, as well as the Ralph Lauren Collection Cartridge Shoulder Bags, Ralph Lauren Collection Tiffin Leather Tote and the Ralph Lauren Collection Lace Metallic Tote. The zipper and opening features black calfskin leather while the remaining trimmings + toron handles and clochet is made from vachetta. The interior features an interior pocket, while the lining is signed with Louis Vuitton Inventeur signature. The Monogram Fleur de Jais Speedy 11.8" x 8.3" x 7.5" in size and is priced at $2420.

The Carrousel in Monogram Fleur de Jais is the crème du jour of the collection. Flaunting a body made from the Monogram canvas with an exquisite floral pattern and sequin embroidery, this vintage style accessory definitely makes for an eye catching accessory. The flap is made from grained black calfskin leather, with a single top handle made from vachetta. A gold S-lock secures the flap to the body while like other bags this bag’s interior too features a flat pocket and a lining signed with the Louis Vuitton Inventeur plate. Measuring 10.2" x 6.7" x 5.9” in size, this bag is priced at $2950.
